Master's Open Day
Twice a year, we organise a Master’s Open Day where you can get to know our programme Cultural History and Heritage. You can join our information session, talk to our students and staff, and find out if this is the Master's for you.
General session for students of Universities of Applied Sciences (HBO)
The Faculty of Humanities will organise a general session for students of Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences who are interested in doing a Master’s programme, in which the main differences between 'hbo' and 'wo' are discussed ('Van hbo naar wo: ervaringen van onze premasterstudenten').

Academic staff
Dr Renée Vulto is Programme Coordinator
Renée Vulto is one of the programme coordinators of the Master's programme. She is a musicologist and literary scholar, and has written a thesis on eighteenth-century Dutch revolutionary song culture. Her first monograph Politics of Feeling in Songs of the Dutch Revolutionary Period (1780-1815) will be published with Amsterdam University Press in 2023. As a lecturer in Cultural History, Renée is involved in teaching various courses in the BA and MA history tracks.
Dr Jochen Hung is Programme Coordinator
Jochen Hung is one of the programme coordinators of the Master's programme. His research focuses on the relationship between media, culture and society in modern history. He has published on gender representations in interwar culture, German-Jewish publishing and national identity, and youth culture in the Weimar Republic.
