Education and exams
Are you visiting the university? Then read the information below.
Education
Education will be held on campus. Degree programmes will decide for themselves whether courses take place on location, online or hybrid. Education on campus is of course what we would like to offer, but sometimes it is not possible because of the schedule issues. Lecturers will inform their students on any adjustments.
Illness
Are you ill? Then stay home.
- Are you absent once? Then report to your course coordinator.
- Are you unable to attend classes on location for a long period of time due to health issues? Then report to your study advisor. Check the website of your study programme to see what the procedure is.
- Are you absent for a long time (more than two weeks)? Discuss this with your study advisor. You can also contact your lecturers.
Exams are on location. This can also be an external location such as Olympos or the Jaarbeurs.
Ill
If you miss the first test (opportunity) because you are ill, you will retain the test opportunity. It may differ per programme how this is exactly interpreted and which alternative options (such as an oral, essay or online proctoring) are offered. In special cases, the Board of Examiners or the director of education may grant an extra examination opportunity, this differs per faculty. Please contact the Board of Examiners in such cases.
We understand that there are students who are concerned about health risks. They should discuss with their study advisor if, due to their health, they are unable to attend a course (with compulsory attendance) on location.
