Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the world is once again facing heightened threats of nuclear annihilation. For the philosophy blog Bij Nader Inzien, Assistant Professor of Political Philosophy Maurits de Jongh wrote a special trilogy in which he discusses the insights of philosopher Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) to help understand the nuclear spectre. Now an English translation is also available, which De Jongh did for Philosophy Now magazine.
