Master's Introduction February 2021

Welcome to the Graduate School of Natural Sciences!

To ensure that you get off to a good start, we organize a (mandatory) introduction event for all new graduate students on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 February 2021 (this is the start of the second semester). Because of the coronavirus precaution measures and the number of students involved, the introduction is likely to take place (partly) online. Students who are (conditionally) admitted will receive more information about the introduction programme in December.

You will be welcomed in a plenary session with the new students of all Master’s programmes of the Graduate School of Natural Science. After that follows the introduction session with the coordinator(s) and fellow students of your own Master’s programme. In this session the start of your studies is organized, like the sign up for courses.

On the second day there will be a follow up of the introduction session with the coordinator(s) and fellow students of your own Master’s programme. Next you can choose from a variety of workshops, about topics like Working Consciously and Effectively online, LinkedIn and Doing a PhD. In addition you can follow an information session about the Applied Data Science Profile, the Complex Systems Profile, the Educational Profile or the honours programme QBio.

NOTE

Are you (conditionally) admitted to one of the GSNS Master’s programmes for February 2021 and did you not receive an e-mail in December 2020? Please contact Monica van der Garde.
