WCFD community day and WCFD community funding call

to

On Thursday 3 April the Water Climate and Future Deltas (WCFD) community will meet at Social Impact Factory aan de Gracht for an afternoon of connection and inspiration. The goal of the meeting is for Utrecht University researchers of various disciplines to get to know each other, learn more about inter- and transdisciplinary work and share what makes us enthusiastic. We have WCFD community funding available and invite everyone to pitch ideas for inter- and transdisciplinary projects at the meet up.

The meeting is open to anyone working in a field that is related to the challenges that delta areas face. So if you are working in a field as biodiversity, regional identity, land subsidence, environmental law, citizen engagement, water governance, spatial planning, soil ecosystems, climate adaptation, environmental history, fair transitions or other, join us!

We will start the meet up with a welcome by Esther Stouthamer and Jonas Lembrechts and lunch. After lunch some colleagues will present on the interdisciplinary projects that received funding last year and we will discuss what key challenges delta areas face. After a break everyone can pitch a project idea for WCFD community funding (more information here) or PtS funding (more information here) and together we can develop these ideas further. There will be plenty of time to connect and enjoy the beautiful location!
