UUnited Music festival 2019

UUnited Muziekfestival

On March 28th, Utrecht University and Parnassos Cultural Centre present Uunited; the largest student music festival in the Netherlands. In TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, student musical ensembles and alumni - such as the well-known choir Dekoor Close Harmony and the Utrechtsch Studenten Concert - will perform together with top artists such as Spinvis, Wouter Hamel, Handsome Poets, Ingmar Heytze and TV chef Rudolph van Veen. You won’t see so many students perform at such a high level in any other city!

Spinvis + USConcert | Ingmar Heytze + USKO | North Sea String Quartet + Medusa | Jim van der Zee + Het Huisorkest | Wouter Hamel + Dekoor Close Harmony | Tatiana Koleva + USCantorij | Rudolph van Veen + Het Kunstorkest | Adam Rapa & Tom Beek + De Utrechtse Studenten Bigband | Handsome Poets | Fruity Island Boys | Young Jazz Society | Music By Oceans | Das Sound Kollektiv | KF Hein UU Open Stage |

An amazing big band that blows you away, choirs that give you goosebumps and several talented orchestras that all have performed on the biggest (inter)national stages. The KOSMU counts about 450 members, all young and talented Utrecht students who share their passion for music. All eight ensembles have been seduced into a unique collaboration with a guest artist. For example, the Utrechtsch Studenten Concert plays a surprising show with Spinvis, and poet Ingmar Heytze takes on the role as storyteller during the mini-Matthaüs of the Utrechts Studenten Koor en Orkest (USKO). UUnited ends the night with a smashing performance of the Handsome Poets and a Pop-O-Matic afterparty. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable evening full of musical surprises!
