Festival pavilion in the Botanic Gardens

Our Botanic Gardens are the beating heart of the festival. The Gardens house the atmospheric festival pavilion where various lectures take place. It is also the place to meet and talk after an interesting expert meeting or discussion. Please find the full programme of the whole week here. Of course also Edwin Pos, scientific director of the Botanic Gardens, will host a lecture.

Lecture Edwin Pos

Do you want to know more about how the Amazon rainforest, a chessboard and the Utrecht Science Park are connected? Edwin Pos will tell you all about it on Thursday 6 October from 2.30pm to 3.30pm in the festival pavilion in the Botanic Gardens. Edwin Pos is associate professor of Ecology and Biodiversity, scientific director of the Botanic Gardens and was named New Scientist science talent of the year in 2021. Register here for free.
