University Day 2017 - Bright minds, better future
The future through the eyes of science
Every day, thousands of Utrecht University researchers are working on building a better future. But what will the future look like? Join us in the Utrecht University Hall in the city centreon Saturday April 1st and find out more! University professors, together with their PhD students, will discuss their current research and share their vision for the future.
To cater to our international alumni, we will provide simultaneous translation of the plenary opening, which will be held in Dutch. Professor Martin van den Berg, of the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences, will deliver the keynote speech and the Vliegenthart Thesis Prize will be awarded.
Following the opening, our English speaking alumni are kindly invited to join the lunch lecture of professor Roos Masereeuw and PhD student Katja Jansen: "Can we bioengineer kidneys"? During the coffee break, there will be an opportunity to network with other international alumni working and living in the Netherlands.
