Transnational Care Arrangements: Guest Lecture by Dr. Ferhan S. Palaz

to
Join us for an upcoming guest lecture on Transnational Care Arrangements, organised by the PhD group of Migration and Societal Change.

In the lecture, Dr. Ferhan S. Palaz will explore care not as a fixed arrangement, but as an ongoing negotiation. How are responsibilities managed when older people and their families live across countries? And how do such arrangements challenge welfare state frameworks? Focusing on migrants from Türkiye living in the Netherlands, the lecture will discuss how families sustain care across borders, particularly through the role of self-directed support (PGB).
