The Transition Makers Toolbox Co-creation
From a collaboration between the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (IIS) at the University of Amsterdam and the alliance of Technical University Eindhoven, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University and University Medical Centre Utrecht (EWUU), supported by the Teaching & Learning Centre of the University of Amsterdam and Liberal Arts and Sciences and University College Utrecht at Utrecht University, the Transition Makers Toolbox was created. Together with teachers from 10 higher education institutions across the Netherlands, we have developed these tools to empower your students to contribute to tackling complex societal challenges.
Your education activity in the Transition Makers Toolbox?
Having resilience, being able to collaborate, and long-term orientation and visioning; a few examples of the Inner Development Goals (IDGs). The Transition Makers Toolbox offers ready-to-use educational materials to teach students skills for working on societal change using the IDGs. As an education professional, do you have a great idea for an activity that matches the Inner Development Goals? Create a tool for the Toolbox and share it with other educators! It can be a learning activity you already use in your education practice or an idea for a tool you’d like to develop further. The first co-creation session takes place on Thursday, 14 November from 1 – 5 pm in Utrecht. The follow-up session is on Thursday, 16 January 2025 from 1-5 pm.
