New workshops and webinars (W&W) will continue to be organised in 2023. With this offer we connect to the demand of teachers.

January 2023
In this webinar there will be 3 short presentations of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) work about feedback, followed by group discussions about the relevance of the presented work in your own context and your own experiences with feedback.
February 2023
During this session we will get you started with your idea to work on the well-being of your students, and you will develop this idea into an application for an activity paid from the NPO funds.
In this workshop, you will learn how you can use an e-module tool like Grasple to enhance your teaching and, for example, use your lectures more efficiently.
March 2023
The EDI Office organises a panel discussion on stereotype imaging of scientists and two workshops, one on the Dilemma Game and one on pronouns.
In the webinar three presenters from different disciplines will share their experience with getting engaged in SoTL. This is followed by group discussions about disciplinary topics, strengths, and barriers in SoTL that will provide you with a new view on your own SoTL work.
During this workshop, we will show you the tool DialogueTrainer. DialogueTrainer is a tool in which students can practice their communication skills with a virtual character.

What role does a university play in responding to societal needs? The notion of a university as a public good has generated much debate through the years.
April 2023
How can you give more instructive feedback that makes students more proficient? What strategies can you give them to better plan, execute, evaluate and improve their (writing) work? In this short workshop, you will work on exercises and receive tips on how to activate your students (and de-activate yourself).
Active learning works! It ensures increased engagement, motivation and understanding among students. How do you stimulate active learning among students in your teaching? What active learning activities are available and which are suitable for your course?
Have you always wanted to experiment with ChatGPT? Or are you getting excited and want to know more about what it can and cannot do? Explore with us the possibilities and limitations of the AI chatbot.
This session is part of the DevelopMEvent taking place from 17 to 19 April.
This workshop will offer some rules of thumb for composing a good exam and good (open or closed) exam questions. As an exercise, we will critically examine your past exam questions, looking for ways to improve them and learn how to write even better questions in future.

In this workshop, we discuss models on motivation and self-regulation, which are important if you want to pay attention to this as a tutor. Participants first experience for themselves what motivates them, how they manage their own behaviour and where this could be improved. Next, attention is paid to how students can reflect on this.
May 2023
With Konjoin, student van be matched to a project. Konjoin is a tool with two different functionalities: a projects marketplace and a matching process.
In the first workshop of this series, you will learn what a knowledge clip is and how to design a knowledge clip. What are the points of attention when designing a knowledge clip? And how to develop an engaging storyline?

In the second workshop of this series, you will learn all about how to record a knowledge clip. You will learn what different options there are to record a knowledge clip, when to choose for which option and what the prerequisites per option are.
The third workshop of this series focuses on how to use knowledge clips in such a way that it encourages students to learn. One way to do this, is to enrich the clip with pop-up questions and/or assignments that promote active learning.

Are you interested in learning how to analyze a test in Remindo? What do you do in case the results on the test are insufficient, or when a great number of students answered a particular question (in)correct?
In this workshop we will show you examples of e-modules, help you with the steps to develop an e-module and give didactic tips.
