Syria, Afghanistan and now Ukraine: Refugee Stories

Meet Incluusion, UU's refugee programme

to

Incluusion offers refugee students the chance to further develop themselves by participating in Utrecht University courses free of charge. In the past 5.5 years, Incluusion has supported more than 1,000 refugee students. In this way, newcomers can continue to develop themselves and participate immediately in society, even before they have been granted an asylum status.

Many refugees spend months, if not years, waiting for their asylum procedure in an asylum seekers' centre. Immediate participation in society contributes to their integration. On Thursday May 19th 2022, we would like show you the world of Incluusion.

During this meeting, we will tell you more about our work: what have we achieved in recent years and what challenges do we face? Several former Incluusion students will share their stories and give you a personal insight into the life of a refugee.

Cheeky questions
We will answer "cheeky" questions: on the registration form you can fill out your cheeky question. What have you always wanted to know about refugees, but never dared or had the opportunity to ask? Ask us and we will provide you with the answer during the meeting!
