Symposium 'Language Impairment and Bilingualism'

On Friday 27 October at 14.30, Tessel Boerma MA (Special Education: Cognitive & Motor Disabilities) will be defending her dissertation about the effects of language impairment and bilingualism on children’s linguistic and cognitive development in Utrecht University Hall. On the day of the defence, a symposium on ‘Language Impairment and Bilingualism’ will be organised. You are cordially invited to both the defence and the symposium.

The symposium will take place between 09.30 and 12.00 in the Belle van Zuylenzaal in the University Hall. Speakers will be Prof. Johanne Paradis (University of Alberta, Canada), Dr Jan de Jong (University of Bergen, Norway/University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands) and Dr Pascale Engel de Abreu (University of Luxembourg).The titles and abstracts of the talks are attached to this message in the menu on the left.
