Science for Sustainability is very pleased to invite you to the first symposium of the new ElectroChemical Hub for Energy Materials and Sustainability on October 21st, 14:00-18:00 in the Minnaert Hall. The symposium is open to everyone (students, lecturers, researchers, staff) with an interest in any field related to electrochemistry. At the event, you will discover all the diverse research currently conducted at Utrecht University on electrochemistry, and meet colleagues from different disciplines.
The symposium will start with an introductory lecture from Prof. Eelco Vogt on the “Refinery of the future”. It will be followed by a poster session from students (BSc, MSc) and researchers (PhD and postdoc) presenting their research and will be concluded by a borrel. Everyone is welcome to present their poster to the rest of the community.
E-CHEMS is a group of theoreticians and experimental experts with a common interest in electrochemistry. The group aims to build an inclusive, inspiring and collaborative community of researchers, lecturers and students on electrochemistry. They hope to promote collaborative and multidisciplinary research projects, and to increase the visibility of UU as a cluster of excellence in electrochemistry.
