Historian Ido de Haan, political scientist Sarah de Lange and journalist Lotfi el Hamidi on the forces undermining our democracy.

NB: this event is in Dutch.

Democracy is creaking and groaning. More and more citizens are turning their backs on it, trust in institutions is falling, and the far right has firmly gained a foothold. What now? Is the government itself to blame for the political discontent? And can the genie of the far right be put back in the bottle? With historian Ido de Haan (UU), political scientist Sarah de Lange (LEI) and journalist Lotfi el Hamidi (De Groene Amsterdammer).

In collaboration with the Department of Political History (UU) and Utrecht Library.
