Scientists delve into adolescence

Researchers from all over Europe with an interest in and expertise on adolescence will gather from 18 to 21 August at the EARA2026 conference at Utrecht Science Park. Registration is still open.

To gain a better understanding of this crucial stage of life, participants will share innovative research and forge new collaborations over the course of the conference. Mental health, social inequalities and climate change

Keynote speaker prof. Gonneke Stevens will discuss the mental health of adolescents in the 21st century: How can we explain the trends over time and the social inequalities between countries? Thanks to the Dynamics of Youth Open Call programme, Dr John Jamir Benzon Aruta (Philippines) will share his expertise as a keynote speaker on topics including psychological principles for promoting ecological sustainability and the intersection between climate change and mental health.
