This year the Research Funding Days take place on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June in Instituto Cervantes (Domplein 3, Utrecht). Just like in 2017 the Research Funding Days consist of one two-day event and two tracks with various sessions throughout the year. One track focuses on research impact and the other on Horizon 2020. Also, grant proposal writing workshops for specific funding are offered throughout the year. Last but not least, informational videos about funding opportunities are available online and a year-round online grant proposal writing course is available for researchers.
During the two-day Research Funding Days event you can attend sessions on funding opportunities, expert panel meetings and workshops on how to improve your grant proposal writing skills, or learn how to write a strong knowledge utilisation paragraph in your research proposal. This is a unique chance to meet successful laureates, research support officers, fellow researchers looking for funding and research funding experts. Information about the programme and registration will be posted on the intranet in May.
Impact track and Horizon 2020 track
How can you achieve impact with your research? How and when should you partner with non-academic partners? How can you get a non-academic audience enthused about your research? This track with various sessions about research impact throughout the year answers these and many other questions. Keep an eye on the intranet for more information on which workshops are on offer.
Horizon 2020 track
Learn what it takes to successfully apply for Horizon 2020 funding. The Horizon 2020 track takes you through the steps of reading a call to writing a successful Horizon 2020 proposal and how to find partners for your Horizon 2020 research consortium. Keep an eye on the intranet for more information on which workshops are on offer.
