Public reading Network for Environmental Humanities: Poets Erín Moure and Frank Keizer

Erín Moure is a Canadian poet and translator with nineteen published books of poetry, a volume of essays, a book of articles on translation, a poetics, and two memoirs. She has translated or co-translated 21 books of poetry and two of biopoetics from French, Spanish, Galician, Portuguese, and Ukrainian.

Her translations include works by poets such as Nicole Brossard (with Robert Majzels), Andrés Ajens, Chantal Neveu, Rosalía de Castro, Chus Pato, Uxío Novoneyra, Lupe Gómez (with Rebeca Lema Martínez and independently), Fernando Pessoa, and Yuri Izdryk (with Roman Ivashkiv).

Frank Keizer is a Dutch poet, critic and editor. He is the author of two chapbooks and three volumes of poetry, Onder normale omstandigheden, Lief slecht ding and De Introductie van het plot. This recent collection tackles questions of collaborative survival amidst environmental decay and precarity.

He has worked as a publisher at Perdu in Amsterdam, where he led a publication series on experimental poetry in translation. He is also an editor for nY, a Flemish literary magazine dedicated to literature and criticism, as well as for the Dutch poetry platform Samplekanon.
