The Green Office Thrift Shop is back - drop into the Educatorium restaurant and make your life more circular! You can donate items or pick stuff up for free from our Thrift Shop any day between June 17th and July 12th, and August 19th and September 13th, during the opening times of the restaurant. There will be no thrift shop between these dates due to the closing of the restaurant.
Pop-up Thrift Shop | Summer Edition
We know that so many of you will be moving away during the summer, and that you probably have so many things that you accumulated over the course of your life as an Utrechter, that you probably do not know what to do with or cannot be bothered to sell. Don't let these items go into a landfill! Leave them for someone else to enjoy.
How to donate
You can bring donations directly to the Green Office, or drop them off in one of our trolleys at Johanna (in front of the elevators on the ground floor), Bisschopen (at the ground floor) or Cambridgelaan (in the hallway at the main entrance of the tower at Cambridgelaan 241-303). Look out for the Thrift Shop posters. Unfortunately we can't accept donations of food or furniture, but all other small items are much appreciated (thick clothes, lamps, bedding, kitchen utensils, decorations... anything that can easily fit on the shelves).
Reduce waste. Save money!
Maybe you don't have anything to donate, but your room needs sprucing up, or you would love to rummage through the forgotten belongings of previous students. Be kind to your wallet and the planet by picking up something secondhand. Everything in the Thrift Shop is completely FREE - you can help yourself to whatever you need. Reduce waste, save money!
