Plant Enthusiasts' Market

On Saturday 5 September 2026, you are welcome to the best plant market in the Central Netherlands! In and around the Utrecht University Botanic Gardens, you will find a huge assortment of plants during the Plant Enthusiasts' Market.

Bulbs, container plants, rock plants, carnivorous plants, houseplants, seeds, trees and shrubs; there's plenty to choose from! The sellers will enthusiastically share their expertise and help you find the right plants. Of course, after visiting the market stands, you can also stroll through the Botanic Gardens and get inspired for your own garden.

Enthusiasm about plants is central to the exhibitors at the Plant lovers' Market. The Market is located on two separate areas in the Gardens. Some exhibitors do not allow payment by pin, so we recommend you also bring cash for your purchases.
