Opening outdoor exposition 'Your Place, Your Words
Are the Botanic Gardens your favourite place in Utrecht? In this expositon you read the best results of the poetry competition 'Utrecht: Your Place, Your Words'. The exposition lasts untill 1 December.
Every place tells a story. With Utrecht: Your Place, Your Words, we invite you to think of a place in the province of Utrecht that holds a special meaning for you and write about it in a poem. Is it the square where you meet up with your friends, a traffic light you cycle past every day, or the bakery of your childhood that no longer exists? Or is it that one part of the Botanic Gardens? What does that place represent for you?
What does that place mean to you? In this outdoor exhibition, you can discover the answers in the winning poems, where personal memories, emotions, and stories come to life.
