On Tuesday 7 April, Utrecht University Library organises a lunch symposium about open education, the UU education model, and in which way open educational resources can play a part in this development.
The programme
12 noon – 1 p.m. Presentations by various speakers, including prof. Iris van der Tuin about the collection Interdisciplinary teaching and learning and dr. Marc van Mil about the Community for Open Science in Education (COSiE) and Kim Zunderdorp about Open Education and the updated UU educational model.
1 p.m – 2 p.m. Lunch and poster sessions
During lunch there will be poster presentations. The University Library warmly invites you to enter a proposal for a contribution. Suitable subjects may be initiatives, good practices or policymaking in the field of open education and open educational resources. Of course, the organisation also welcomes proposals around the theme open education which do not fall under these categories. Send your proposal for a poster no later than March 1st 2026 to library.learning@uu.nl.
The spoken language of the symposium is Dutch.
