Nobel Prize in Physics Watch Party: place your bets!

Who will win this year’s Nobel Prize in Physics? And, perhaps more importantly: will you have guessed the winning research field? Join us for a live watch party as we watch the announcement together in the Koningsberger Building. Consider it your lunch break, upgraded.
Last year was a success, so we’re bringing back the Nobel excitement with speakers, discussion and, of course, a true Nobel Bingo. The event is organised by the Department of Physics and the Faculty of Science.
Save the date, rally your colleagues, and start researching which field is most likely to win!
Programme & location
The watch party will take place at the videowall on the first floor of the Koningsberger building, and is open for everyone.
The event starts at 11:30 with speakers from the Department of Physics. At 12:00, we will tune in to the livestream of the Nobel Prize Ceremony, and afterwards we will shortly discuss the winner(s). The event will end at 12:45. The full programme will follow soon.
Please bring your own drinks and lunch!
