New York City - Music&Science (2nd edition)

The UU Alumni Network NYC is an intercultural and multi-disciplinary network with the goal of connecting and supporting Utrecht University alumni in New York City.
For our upcoming activity we are cooperating with the Tufts Alumni Association.

Coming up on September 17th we host another Music & Science evening, similar to the event with the Dutch Harp Festival of January 2018. This year we cooperate with the Utrecht-based Liszt Piano Competition. In adition to a small concert, we invited Dr. Paul Lehrman, Director of Music Engineering at Tufts University School of Arts and Science. He will share with you the story of his work on George Antheil’s revolutionary 1924 piece for multiple player pianos and percussion, followed by a showing of the short film "Ballet Mécanique” edited by Dr. Lehrman.

Tickets are free of charge for UU graduates. UU is happy to offer you some drinks and snacks as well.
