Motivation from a self-determination perspective
The working language of this workshop is English.
This workshop focuses on the theme of motivation. We delve into the educational literature to discuss relevant insights around motivation, from the perspective of the self-determination theory. In doing so, we pay attention to different forms of motivation, and the basic psychological needs of competence, autonomy and relatedness. From there, we ask the question: what can you do as a teacher to motivate your students to the best of your ability? You will leave the workshop with more insights into how your actions as a teacher can influence your students' motivation.
