Lecture: The 1000 Species Garden by Luc Hoogenstein

to

As an ecologist with Natuurmonumenten, Luc Hoogenstein made the best of a bad situation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Suddenly having to work from home, he set himself the goal of finding 1,000 species in his own city garden in Lunetten within a year. This quest soon got out of hand and exceeded his wildest expectations, both in terms of the number of species and the unusual sightings. He even discovered a species new to the Netherlands!
