Kingdom Synergy: Mapping Our Shared Landscape
Institutions for Open Societies organizes
Across Utrecht University, colleagues are actively engaged with partners in the Caribbean part of the Dutch Kingdom – from Aruba to Statia, Curaçao to Saba, St Martin to Bonaire. Through research, education, and societal impact with partners in the Caribbean region, we contribute to a more connected and sustainable open Kingdom, in line with UU’s Global Engagement agenda.
Institutions for Open Societies (IOS) is organizing an interactive event to bring efforts together and foster Kingdom Synergy. Through short speed-date rounds and a collaborative mapping exercise, we will start to build a shared picture of our activities, connections, and ambitions. Such an ‘Atlas of the Kingdom Landscape’ provides insight into ongoing collaborations, themes, and opportunities for future engagement, and also contributes to a broader conversation on how to embed these efforts more structurally within UU’s strategic themes.
Join us to explore how our collective work across the Kingdom can grow in synergy, and how we, as UU colleagues, can strengthen equitable connections between disciplines, islands, and ideas.
