IOS In/Equality platform invites you to a movie and discussion about
Recently, the colonial history of the Netherlands and its continuing influence on people and society has been receiving increasing public and academic attention. Deeply rooted institutions such as equality (dignity), migration (distribution), subsistence security play an important role in this.

Central to this event is the recently restored documentary Women of Surinam, Oema foe Sranan, 1978.
The film is in Sranantango and subtitled in Dutch. The post-screening discussion will therefore also be conducted in Dutch. Read on in Dutch.
