Would you like to innovate your education? Do you have an excellent idea? Don’t hesitate and submit an application for the Utrecht Incentive Fund for Education (USO). On Thursday 20 June 2019, 10.30 - 11.30 am, the Centre for Academic Teaching organizes an information meeting about the university part of USO. During the meeting members of the assessment committee answer questions about the stimulation fund and the procedure. Innovation makes teaching even more better and more fun.
Utrecht Incentive Fund for Education (USO) 2020
The Utrecht Stimulation Fund for Education (USO) helps teachers to professionalize and stimulates educational innovations. Every year, the Executive Board allocates 2 million euros to promising projects submitted by teachers. Of this, 1 million euros will be spent on small-scale, faculty projects, that you can apply for within your faculty. The other 1 million euros is available for larger innovation projects involving two or more faculties. Honored projects are carried out by the teachers themselves. From 2017, the USO falls under the responsibility of the Center for Academic Teaching. Further information about the USO can be found on the CAT website.
In June, the call for proposals for the USO round 2020 will be published. The deadlines and themes for 2020 will be announced shortly. For further information about the procedure for 2020, keep an eye on the CAT website. An overview of important dates for the USO and other funds can be found on the CAT funding calendar.
