Inaugural lecture: The return of constitutional law – by Prof. Jurgen Goossens
Professor Jurgen Goossens' inaugural lecture is entitled 'The return of constitutional law'. Goossens is professor of constitutional law and chair of the Institute for Jurisprudence, Constitutional and Administrative Law at Utrecht University's School of Law. His chair focuses on constitutional resilience in light of digital transformations and legal protection against government action.
His lecture will be preceded by a symposium (from 9am in Paushuize, Utrecht). This symposium is organised by the Montaigne Centre for Rule of Law and Administration of Justice (Utrecht University), with the participation of members of the State Commission for the Rule of Law.
Both the inaugural lecture and the symposium are held in Dutch.
