On 4 December, Dr Gandolfo Cascio (Languages, Literature and Communication) hosts a study afternoon dedicated to Giuseppe Baretti (Turin 1719 - London 1789), a trenchant literary critic, linguist, lexicograher, and translator. This conference is part of the activities promoted by the National Committee in honor of the third centennial of Baretti's birth.

The lectures will focus on Baretti's international network, his reception abroad and his daring renewal of the Italian canon and are given in Italian and English. The full programme can be found here.
