Film screening: Outgrow the System

The Green Office Utrecht University, along with the Critical Pathways community, invites you to a viewing of Outgrow the System (2023), a documentary feature film about transitioning to a sustainable economic system. The documentary, directed by Cecilia Paulsson & Anders Nilsson, showcases transformative ideas on how we can reorganize our production and consumption, in order to ensure our survival as a species on this planet.

At Utrecht University many researchers and teachers are delving deeply into the interconnectedness between our economic and political systems on the one hand, and the ecological systems of the world around us on the other. We are finding radical new pathways towards sustainable futures and thus this documentary fits perfectly within our programme. The documentary will be introduced by Dr. Giuseppe Feola, Associate Professor of Social Change for Sustainability at Utrecht University, and followed by a group discussion. We hope to see you there!
