  • Location: LPL

What You’ll Need:

No materials are required

Workshop Goals:

By the end of the session, you’ll be able to  3D print an existing design using PLA filament on our FDM printers, and you'll have a clear understanding of the capabilities and limitations of 3D printing.

What to Expect:

In this interactive workshop, you'll learn the basics of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing, one of the most accessible and widely used 3D printing technologies. Whether you're completely new to 3D printing or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will guide you through the process of printing a design in PLA on our printers.

You'll leave with the confidence to independently operate an FDM 3D printer, understanding the key steps involved, from preparing a design to managing the print process. We'll also discuss the broader possibilities of 3D printing and explore its limitations, so you can envision how to integrate it into your projects.

We look forward to printing with you!
