Farewell speech prof. dr. Philip Langbroek: Relying on the Courts
On Wednesday April 12th 2023 Philip Langbroek will deliver his farewell speech as professor of Justice and Court Administration.
Prior to this, the Institute of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Legal Theory and the Montaigne Centre for Rule of Law and Administration of Justice will organize a symposium for Philip with the title ‘Court administration and the Rule of Law’. During the symposium, Dory Reiling, Dacian Dragos, and Francesco Contini will shed light on a number of important themes for the future of the Administration of Justice. The working language is English. You are cordially invited to the symposium.

Speakers: Dory Reiling retired as a senior judge from the Amsterdam first instance court in 2018. She was involved in court digitalization throughout her judicial career, and now acts as a Court Information Technology expert for international organizations and judiciaries worldwide.
Dacian C. Dragos is Jean Monnet Professor of Administrative and European Law with the Public Administration and Management Department, and the Law Doctoral School at the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Francesco Contini is Research Director at the Institute on Legal Informatics and Judicial Systems – National Research Council of Italy.
