Farewell address Jan Odijk: Language Technology for Linguistic Research

On 30 January, Professor of Language and Speech Technology Jan Odijk will deliver his farewell address, entitled ‘Language Technology for Linguistic Research’.

Using two examples, Jan Odijk will show how language technology can be used to support linguistic research. By using language technology, linguistic research can be done faster, he says. It can also be based on more data and parts of the research can be automated.
