Faculty Club - From magic lantern to AI: what can we learn from techniques of the past? (in Dutch)

to

Join us on an inspiring journey through time on Monday 12 May! In this interactive lecture, we will take you from old AV equipment - such as slide projectors (e.g. the Epidiascope) and vintage beamers - to today's modern technologies. We show how past innovations have shaped education and what lessons we can learn from them (lecture in Dutch).

And the journey does not stop at the past. Together, we explore the future: which current technologies and self-evident features of education may be gone in 5-10 years' time? What will take their place? We discuss how, as a university, we can be a handhold in times of disinformation and rapid technological developments.

She combines her passion for technology and education to create innovative learning environments. Always looking ahead, she explores what education will look like in ten years' time and what our contribution to it can be. In this workshop, however, she focuses on the past. Because to know where you are going, it helps to know where you came from.
