The lecture
Individually and as a society, we are facing unprecedented challenges in making the transition towards a sustainable society – from governments designing policies to mitigate the climate crisis to the very personal decisions we make about meat consumption and eco-friendly fashion. While the messages are out there – use public transportation, keep the thermostat at 18 degrees – governments are struggling with how to actually involve citizens with the transition. This talk will introduce a new approach to citizen engagement by highlighting the potential of working together as a community on the public good of sustainability.

Programme:
17.30 uur: Walk in with a welcome drink (Kanunnikenzaal)
18.00 uur: Start of lecture (Kanunnikenzaal)
19.15/19.30 uur: Start of dinner (Huiskamer)
21.00 uur: End of evening

After the lecture, we will sit down together and chat with the speaker in an informal setting. Admission to the lecture including main course, drinks, coffee/tea is €27.50.
