Faculty Club - Brainstorm Session Lustrum UU

The Faculty Club is a meeting place for people from different faculties, studies and departments. This makes it an ideal place to present new ideas and plans to a broad group of critical friends who know UU well. From 2025 onwards, we will organise Brainstorm Sessions (Klankbordevents) several times a year. 

On Monday 14 April, we will kick off with a meeting about the upcoming 390th anniversary of Utrecht University, in 2026.

In 2026, Utrecht University will celebrate its 390th anniversary, together with UMC Utrecht, which is celebrating its 14th lustrum. The theme of this lustrum year will be ‘Cooperation in city and region’. The lustrum programme will tie in as much as possible with all the activities that are already being organised.

Share your ideas with us! A global programme for the lustrum is being developed, based on input broadly gathered from the university. On Monday 14 April, Ted Sanders, chair of the Lustrum committee, will outline the lustrum programme and give some explanation. After that, it's up to you: we challenge you to help think about the further details. What do you think about the mentioned lustrum theme, how can we really involve city and region, can you come up with a catchy lustrum title... We are looking forward to your input.

The results of the meeting will be shared with the Lustrum committee, so they can continue working on them. Of course, drinks and snacks will be provided!
