Faculty Club - Asparagus Dinner
On Tuesday, May 19, the Faculty Club, in collaboration with Future Food Utrecht, is hosting a special culinary Asparagus Dinner. During this evening, you will enjoy a refined four-course menu with an amuse-bouche and carefully paired wines, featuring asparagus—the queen of vegetables—in the starring role.
Between courses, researchers Roeland Berendsen and Jasper de Louwere from Future Food Utrecht will guide you through the background of this seasonal vegetable. They will explain the importance of biodiversity, the value of variety on the plate, and introduce you to the fascinating world of asparagus cultivation.
