Imagine you could step forward in time.
Not to tomorrow, but to 2035.
During Silent Inspirations, you take part in a short, narrative audio tour through a future landscape. As you listen, a world unfolds in which food production is organised differently, where communities garden together and new energy sources follow the rhythm of the landscape. A world in which life in the soil is once again central and technology supports nature rather than replacing it.
Each story lasts up to 4 minutes, so even if you can only stop by briefly, you’re warmly welcome!
A free experience for your imagination and your senses — complemented by closing drinks that brings the atmosphere of the future to life.
After the audio tour, there will be time to chat over drinks. We are also interested in your perspective: what from this story would you like to start today?
Programme:
- Feel free to drop by between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM for an audio tour and a closing drink (registration is appreciated)
Location: Faculty Club, entrance via the University Hall (Domplein 29, Utrecht)
This special event is a collaboration between Future Food Utrecht, The Faculty Club and Vineyard, and is part of the Food Week programme and the university's anniversary celebrations. Be inspired by a future that may be closer than you think.
In addition, a Utrecht reading bench and the Future Food book list will be available for visitors looking for extra inspiration.
