Ecotop Utrechtse Heuvelrug
A nature and biodiversity symposium from Utrecht University and National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug
On 20 March, Utrecht University and the National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug Foundation will organize the Utrechtse Heuvelrug Ecotop. This is a nature and biodiversity symposium where both professionals and volunteers present the results of their research conducted within the boundaries of the national park, sharing their findings with a broader audience of nature enthusiasts.
The symposium will take place at Landgoed De Horst in Driebergen from 13:00 to 17:00, followed by a networking reception. Expect a wide-ranging program with inspiring stories that also highlight the challenges facing nature and land managers. Topics will include dragonflies on the Leersumse Veld, lichen biodiversity, a network of camera traps, and the condition of the forest floor. It is an opportunity to get inspired, meet others, and connect.
