Utrecht University is committed to increasing diversity and inclusion among its students and staff. There is still much to be achieved, but some excellent initiatives have already been launched to help achieve this. That is why the Diversity & Inclusion Award has been presented since 2019.

This year, we will present the award on Diversity Day, 6 October 2026, during the EDI Symposium. Do you know a staff member or student who has made a special contribution to promoting Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at UU? You can now nominate someone for the Diversity & Inclusion Award. The deadline for nominations is 1 July 2026. Further information about the EDI Symposium will follow.
