Digital Humanities Benelux conference

From 3-5 July the Faculty of Humanities will host the fourth Digital Humanities Benelux conference. 

This conference alternately takes place in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The organisers at Utrecht University are: Dr Arjan van Hessen, Prof. Joris van Eijnatten, Dr Frans Wiering, Prof. Els Stronks, Dr José de Kruif and André van Kooij.

Digital Humanities Lab Utrecht

Utrecht University's Faculty of Humanities houses ample expertise in the field of Digital Humanities, which is combined in the Digital Humanities Lab. Digital Humanities ‘Utrecht style’ explores the cultural and social impact of new media and information technologies and the challenges they pose. It exploits and applies these technologies to model different research domains in the humanities. In addition, the Lab focuses on the development, design and support of technical infrastructure for research in the humanities.

Digital Humanities 2019

In July 2019, Utrecht University will host another large international conference in the field of the Digital Humanities, organised by the worldwide Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations.
