Difficult situations in your seminar group: How do you deal with this?

Language: Dutch
Work form: Workshop
As a seminar teacher, you frequently encounter situations that are not always pleasant. Students arrive late, are unprepared, or make inappropriate comments about other students. How do you respond to these situations, and what impact does your response have on the group dynamic?
The behavior of the workshop instructor and its effects can be understood through the communication model by Wubbels and colleagues. This model provides tools to make conscious choices: how you respond (or choose not to respond!) directly influences the students and the atmosphere in your group.
This workshop also focuses on strengthening social safety within your group by offering tools for handling difficult situations and guiding your students through them. You will learn concrete strategies not only to gain more control over interactions but also to work with your students on creating a safe group dynamic.
