Denise de Ridder’s farewell address on collective behavioural change

On Wednesday 17 June 2026, Denise de Ridder will step down as Professor of Psychology in the Department of Social, Health & Organisational Psychology at Utrecht University.

On this occasion, De Ridder will deliver a farewell lecture: 'Zet de wij-stand aan: collectieve gedragsverandering bij complexe maatschappelijke problemen' ['Switch to ‘we’ mode: collective behavioural change in the face of complex social problems'].

Her lecture will take place at 4.15 pm in the Aula of the Utrecht University Hall. This will be followed by a reception in the Senate Hall. You can register for the farewell lecture via the Registration Form.

Prior to the farewell lecture (between 9.15 am and 3.00 pm), a Behaviour & Institutions Symposium Behaviour & Institutions Symposium will take place at the Centraal Museum: ‘Community contributions to societal challenges: Why they matter and how they work’.
