Democracy for Future Generations
'Futures of Democracy' invites you to the congress
On June 2, Futures of Democracy will organise the workshop Democracy for Future Generations. There is great concern among the younger generations about the future of democracy. As academics from different disciplines, we want to discuss it with them in a public debate. Specific topics that will be discussed are: democratic governance and the climate crisis; the possibilities of national citizens' councils; whether older generations may or even should make decisions for future generations. In addition, we especially want to listen to young people to hear their perspective: What is their vision, what are their hopes and concerns about their future and the future of our democracy?
