Debate Night Citizen Science

Citizen Science is a relatively new but rapidly growing form of science in which researchers call on citizens during their projects, for example to assist with the digitization of archives or the collection of data on particulate matter. Now, the Centre for the Humanities hosts its first debate night this March 23, centering around this theme  of Citizen Science and the issues the scientist encounter when dealing with such a project. What is the use of Citizen Science, what are the advantages and disadvantages?
