The second Data CARE Workshop takes place on June 11, 2025, at Utrecht University Hall. This full-day hybrid event brings together researchers, artists, policymakers, and industry professionals to explore how AI shapes cultural value and how creative and cultural communities can play a bigger role in its development.

Diversity in data

The workshop focuses on diversity in data, fair provenance, equitable data sourcing, and the democratization of creative tools. Discussions will center on ways to make AI more inclusive and representative of the Majority World and other underrepresented groups.

Data CARE Workshop Series

Organized by the Inclusive AI Lab UU, with support from IOS, UGlobe, HAI, and CHAIN, this event is part of the Data CARE Workshop Series, a platform for interdisciplinary and cross-sector dialogue on AI and equity.
