This summer we give every student and faculty member the opportunity to develop their maker skills with their own passion project! Throughout August the lab will welcome non-research projects. Feel free to come by and develop your technical skills or need support.

At the lab you can learn and make use of a wide array of equipment such as soldering stations, a lasercutter or CNC machines, just to name a few. We are here to support you at any step along the way.

Points of attention

  • Only prototypes, no mass-production
  • LPL may suggest changes to save on material or for safety
  • All experience levels are okay
  • This is for UU'rs only
  • Heed the standard lab safety guidelines
  • Sign your project up via our website - link in left column.

Projects linked to education or research still get priority, so please visit our website to get started.
