Welcome Week

• Meet your fellow international students! You will be placed in a group of approximately 20 new students. Your group will be guided by a student mentor. This is a perfect way to meet people who are in the same boat and start making new friends!
• Get to know the city of Utrecht and the University! During the Welcome Week, we will host a number of events and activities designed to help you become acquainted with the university and learn more about Dutch culture by taking part in interactive workshops, sessions, and activities. Please note: while the Welcome Week includes an academic program for each faculty, it is possible that your faculty also organises separate events. Thus, please attend the faculty events as well as the Welcome Week!
• When just arriving in a new country, arranging practical matters may seem overwhelming. No worries: we have you covered! During the UU Welcome Week, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and figure out everything you need to do together with your mentor and fellow students.

The UU Welcome Week offers a varied programme, so there's something for everyone! The main focus of the week is to help you get to know the city, the university, its student associations, and your fellow international students.
